Happenings

The event was organised with the objective of formally inducting the new office bearers for the upcoming tenure for Rotary Year 2026 – 2027; while reflecting upon and acknowledging the meaningful contributions and applaudable achievements of the outgoing team. The programme commenced with a general welcome of all the esteemed guests and fellow roatracters of other clubs. The event was then addressed by our deputy director Dr.

Deepti Khubalkar and Faculty In-charge Prof. Jahanavi Dimri ma’am who set the tone for the ceremony. This was succeeded by the formal introduction of the dignitaries and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment.

The event was further enriched by the insightful speech delivered by our esteemed Chief Guest, Rtn. Prajakta Mangrulkar. Other distinguished guests, including Rtn. Deep Gajbe, Mr. Nishikant Kashikar, Rtn. Vikrant Darwhekar, and Mr. Jagdhish Lanjewar, shared their valuable experiences, thoughts, and guidance with the audience. Their encouraging words provided meaningful takeaways for everyone present at the ceremony

A key highlight of the event was the exchange of collars, marking the official transition of leadership between the outgoing and incoming Presidents and General Secretaries. The outgoing President shared reflections on the previous tenure, while the incoming President delivered an acceptance speech outlining commitments towards service and community engagement. The ceremony also included the installation of new members into the Rotaract Cell.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the new General Secretary, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, reinforcing a sense of unity and shared purpose among all attendees.
