About Symbiosis Centre For Advocacy Skills And Litigation

SLS Nagpur has established the Centre of Advocacy Skills and Litigation, which comprises entrusted student members responsible for administering various activities under the guidance of the faculty in charge of the cell. The mandate of the centre encompasses the promotion and conduct of a wide array of training related to advocacy skills and litigation.

Aims and Objectives:

Training students of law in advocacy skills and litigation is integral to their development as competent legal professionals. The purpose of this training encompasses several key aspects aimed at equipping them with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of legal practice effectively. Advocacy training emphasizes the development of strong oral and written communication skills. Lawyers must be able to articulate complex legal arguments persuasively, both in courtrooms and in written documents such as briefs and motions. Training helps students learn how to structure arguments, use persuasive language, and engage effectively with judges, juries, clients, and opposing counsel. Legal advocacy requires rigorous analysis of statutes, case law, and factual evidence.
