Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)
The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2026 for admission to the 05 years
B.A. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B. Degree programme at SLS Nagpur will be conducted through CBT Mode
Eligbility
Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes)
The SLAT will be conducted through CBT mode for 60 marks.
Structure of SLAT includes 60 questions for 1 mark each covering Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. Total duration of test SLAT is 60 minutes.
After declaration of SLAT result, SLS Nagpur will publish the list of shortlisted candidates who are eligible for Online PI (Personal Interaction).
Please Note: Only those candidates will be shortlisted for PI who have registered and paid (programme wise fee @Rs.1000/- for each programme) to SLS, Nagpur while filling SLAT registration form
Slot Booking
The candidate needs to book a slot for Online PI at SLS, Nagpur. Slot booking link for shortlisted candidates will be available on our website, www.slsnagpur.edu.in.
If a slot is not booked by the candidate within stipulated date & time a forceful allotment will be done. The candidate needs to check the website of SLS, Nagpur for status (shortlisted or not) and for booking the slot for PI..
Personal Interaction (PI)
Personal Interaction is intended to test the Personal Attributes, inclination towards law as a career, overall personality and communication skills, Extracurricular and Co-curricular activities, and elementary knowledge of law of a candidate.
PI (Personal Interaction) - 30 Marks
Online PI of shortlisted candidates will be conducted online by panel of experts from Industry / Academia.
Declaration of Merit Lists
Based on the 70 % weightage of scores for SLAT, 30% for PI

Reporting for PI
Shortlisted candidates must upload scanned copies of their original documents (STRICTLY IN PDF Format ONLY) as specified in the intimation for PI e.g. 12th Std.
Mark Sheet, Provisional Passing Certificate from School/College, Caste / Category Certificate (IF APPLICABLE) for SC/ST/KM/DA and Children/wards of Defense Personnel, photo identity proof - Aadhar Card / License / PAN Card/Passport, Certificates of Curricular, Co-curricular and Extra-curricular Activities
Nagpur Domicile (SLS, Nagpur)
I. Reservation of seats for Nagpur Domicile (SLS, Nagpur)
(25% of seats within the sanctioned intake – Only in case of Constituents at Off-Campus Centre, Nagpur)
In accordance with Clause A of Schedule C of the Lease Deed signed between Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur and Symbiosis, Pune on 4th September, 2017, the University has reserved 25% seats against the approved intake in each programme offered at the Off-campus Centre of the University at Nagpur for Nagpur Domiciled candidates.
The definition for Nagpur Domicile is:
‘Nagpur Domiciled’ means candidates who are domiciled in Nagpur for a period of five (5) years as on the date of commencement of the academic year and who:
- (a) Are or will be graduates or students of Nagpur University, and/or
- (b)are recipients of school certificates from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations, and/ or the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)/ ICSE Board.
While giving admission under the Nagpur Domicile category:
- Residence Criterion: Resident of Nagpur Urban for five continuous or intermittent years is mandatory.

Educational Criterion:
The candidate should fulfil one of the following:
- (a) Graduate or pursuing graduation from Nagpur University – OR –
- (b) Should have school certificates (10th and 12th) from:
- (i) Maharashtra Board
- (ii) CISCE
- (iii) CBSE
- (iv) ICSE
- Note: 10th and 12th certificates from other State Boards or foreign school boards are NOT accepted.

Online Payment
Both SLAT and SLS, Nagpur Payment can be made using Credit Card/Net Banking/ Indian Bank NET Banking details provided on the SLAT Registration Form.
Demand Draft
Get a demand draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune.
Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at:
