The debating culture at Symbiosis has a long history. Taking forward this heritage and legacy, The Parliamentary Society aims at providing a platform for students to interact, exchange and articulate their thoughts and ideas. The Parliamentary society at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur is established to provide students the opportunity to liberate their thoughts, and act as a platform to voice their opinions and sharpen oratory skills.

In September 2019, The Parliamentary Society organized an introductory session on the parliamentary style of debating which was presided over by Adv. Jatin Kumar. The session helped students know the basics of this style of debating and also helped them gear up for Guftaguu- 2019, the first edition intra college parliamentary debate.
The first intra-college Asian style parliamentary debate, was organized on the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayant, Guftaguu- 2019 was the first debate competition organized by the college and was indeed a grand success with over a hundred participants.
In order to make students acquainted with the rules and intricacy of this style of debate, Parliamentary Society of SLS Nagpur organized the workshop on Asian style parliamentary debate for the guidance of the participants on 23rd October, 2021
Parliamentary Society at Symbiosis Law school, Nagpur organized 2nd Intra College Asian Style Debate Competition- Guftaguu-2.0 on virtual mode on 30th October, 2021. Total 48 teams registered for the event.
The parliamentary society has been actively working since the last few months to plan Symvarta, the first edition of the National Parliamentary Debate. The society is dedicated to organize the Mega Event which will be organized as soon as possible.
