EXHIBITION OF COINS, COINAGE, STAMPS AND “BEST FROM WASTE” PROJECT
An academic exhibition showcasing Coins, Coinage, and Stamps along with the “Best from Waste” Project Module was successfully organized at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur as part of the Value Added Course on “SDG: Historical Roots and Legal Framework.”

An academic exhibition showcasing Coins, Coinage, and Stamps along with the “Best from Waste” Project Module was successfully organized at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur as part of the Value Added Course on “SDG: Historical Roots and Legal Framework.”

The exhibition featured the enthusiastic participation of students from different batches. The Semester II students (Batch 2025–30) of the BA LL.B. Programme presented a diverse and insightful collection of coins, coinage, and stamps, reflecting historical, cultural, and economic evolution across various regions and time periods. Their exhibits demonstrated a deep understanding of the historical roots of trade, governance, and legal systems associated with currency and communication.

In addition, the Semester VI students (Batch 2023–28) of BA LL.B. and BBA LL.B. Programmes presented their innovative “Best from Waste” Project Module, emphasizing sustainability and environmental consciousness. The projects creatively transformed waste materials into useful and artistic products, aligning with the principles of sustainable development goals (SDGs) and promoting responsible consumption and production.

The event was held in the Girls’ Common Room on the Second Floor of the SLS Building, providing an engaging platform for experiential learning and interdisciplinary understanding.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated on 4 April 2026 at 01:50 PM at the auspicious hands of Dr. Deepti Khubalkar, Deputy Director, Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur. In her inaugural address, she appreciated the students’ creativity, research efforts, and their commitment to integrating historical knowledge with contemporary sustainability practices.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Sukhvinder Singh Dari, Director, for his constant support and encouragement in organizing this academic activity. His commitment to promoting experiential and practical learning played a vital role in making this educational initiative a success.

The exhibition was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Prashant Dhage, Faculty In-Charge and this exhibition served as an excellent opportunity for students to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and awareness about historical and environmental dimensions within legal education.

Overall, the event was a grand success, reflecting the institution’s commitment to holistic and value-based education.
