Justice Sirpurkar became a Judge of Bombay High Court in 1992 and later transferred to the Madras High Court in December, 1997. He was elevated to Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court which he served from 25 July 2004 to 19 March 2005. He then assumed office of the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court on from 20 March 2005 up to 11 January 2007. Finally he was appointed a Judge of the Supreme court of India on 12 January 2007 and retired on 21 August 2011, after reaching the retiring age of 65. After retiring from the Supreme Court of India, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Competition Appellate Tribunal from July, 2012, following the retirement of Mr. Justice Arijit Pasayat from that position in May, 2012.
Hon’ble Smt. Justice V. A. Naik was born on 3.5.1956. She completed her schooling from Mount Carmel School, Nagpur. Having secured Master’s Degree in History, she obtained LL.B. Degree from Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur. She was enrolled as an Advocate on 7th September 1981 and practiced under the able guidance of her father Shri V.R. Manohar, who is an eminent lawyer and former Advocate General for the State of Maharashtra. She practiced mainly on Civil and constitutional sides. During 1980 to 1990 she was associated with the Maharashtra Law Journal and the All India Reporter. She also worked as a Honorary Lecturer at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur for more than 10 years
Hon'ble Shri Justice S. Shukre graduated from Pune University in 1980, and did his LL.B. in 1983 from Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Law College, Amravati affiliated to the then Nagpur University. He stood second in Order of Merit at the LL.B. examination, and is recipient of Late Kale Memorial Prize for having secured highest marks in Hindu law at LL.B examination. He commenced his legal practice at Amravati. He did LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the then Nagpur University. He has keen interest in sports and has represented M.J. College, Jalgaon in Inter-collegiate tournaments in Lawn Tennis and Badminton. He joined Judiciary as a Direct District Judge from Bar in the year 2000 and since then has worked as Principal District Judge, Kolhapur, Registrar (Administration), Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court, Joint Director-Maharashtra Judicial Academy, Uttan, Thane, Principal District Judge, Nagpur and took charge as Registrar General, High Court Bombay on 17th March, 2011. Elevated as Judge of the Bombay High Court on 13th May, 2013.
Justice Kishor Jayram Rohee, B.A., LL.M. : Was born on January 6, 1947. He was enrolled as an Advocate on August 22, 1968. He practised for 5 years and six months in Akot (District : Akola) District Court and High Court Bench at Nagpur in Civil and Labour matters. He was Member, Industria Court, Nagpur, Joint District Judge, Ahmednagar and District & Session Judge, Yavatmal, Dhule, Nagpur and Solapur. He also worked as Director of Judicial Officers' Training Institute at Nagpur. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court with effect from August 29, 2003. He retired on January 6, 2009.

She also assists clients in seeking advance ruling before Authority for Advance Ruling or filing appeal before Appellate Authority Advance Rulings and arguing at the time of hearings.

After law school, Professor Mimi Samuel practiced business litigation for approximately eight years, first in Washington, D.C., at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, and then in San Francisco, at Thelen Marin Johnson & Bridges.
For almost two decades, Professor Samuel has worked with law students, lawyers, and judges overseas to help them improve their legal writing. In addition, she has consulted with law schools in a number of countries both on how to develop their legal writing curricula and how best to teach students to become effective writers. In 2011, she was awarded a Fulbright Specialist Scholarship to develop and implement the first legal writing class on Sri Lanka at the University of Peradeniya. In addition, she has worked Afghanistan, Botswana, China, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Liberia, Russia, South Africa, and Uganda. Professor Samuel has won two awards for her work overseas: In 2016, she was awarded a Global Legal Skills Award for promoting global legal skills around the world and the Terri LeClercq Courage Award, which is awarded by the Legal Writing Institute "to honor individuals who have demonstrated 'courage writ large' concerning legal writing and, in particular, Those LWI members who have demonstrated courage by doing, despite fear, something that most people would not do." In addition, in 2008, Professor Samuel was awarded the first Bronson Dillehay Award for her article Focus on Batson: Let the Cameras Roll. That award is given by the American Society of Trial Consultants for a proposal for addressing a significant and persistent problem that undermines both the right to a fair trial and public confidence in the legal system. Her sessions on Legal Writing & Lawyering Skills formed the foundational basics of the students and was instrumental in training them to think like a lawyer.
